Deerhurst Community Care Group

This group exists to support members of our local community.  We offer: 

 Transport to appointment at Doctor's or Hospital (Tewkesbury,  Cheltenham or Gloucester) . A group of volunteers will take you in their own car, wait for you and bring you home. There is normally no charge for this service.

 Prescription Collection.
A volunteer will collect prescriptions for you.

The "Open Door"
  -  a monthly gathering with lunch at Apperley Village Hall.
    APPERLEY OPEN DOOR LUNCH CLUB

The Open Door is a monthly luncheon club which meets in Apperley village
hall on the third Thursday of each month from 1130am - 2pm and is open to
all age groups.

You can be sure of a warm welcome with tea/coffee and biscuits on
arrival. A two course lunch is provided, freshly cooked with a great
selection of puddings. The price for all this is just £5.00 per person.
